This is a very desirable set, with a design also used by Mappin and Webb. The copper kettle is centrally placed, sometimes nickel plated The set is well designed to accommodate four persons. Vesta case is fitted inside the lid, with usual cutlery arrangement. Very hard to locate an example with the fretwork wicker decoration in front of the sandwich box, glasses and drinks bottle. This was a very popular design, but very few survived in such fine condition. I have encountered a variety of interior colours- green, fawn, red and this most attractive Royal Blue. Rather heavy, but ideal for a day at the races!
