This set was a unique commission taken for a European Tour, stopping at points of interest on the Alsace and Germany. At the end of the trip, all the pieces were engraved with the places and dates of the visit. The layout and design of this set would be hard to improve on, with double kettles and burners, and fully fitted for six persons. Another interesting feature is that the Mintons finest bone china gilt rimmed cups were contained within a wire framework, which pulled out of a wicker compartment. The fold front part is fitted with saucers and condiment bottles This is a very desirable feature, and this set is one of the very finest I have located.
